Divisions: Gi and No-Gi divisions available for ages 4 and up, covering all skill levels from white belt to advanced.
Tournament Format: Depending on bracket sizes, this event utilizes best-of-three, round-robin, and modified double-elimination brackets to ensure every competitor gets multiple matches.

Day-of Schedule: Doors open and weigh-ins begin at 8:00 AM, with matches officially kicking off at 9:30 AM.
NEWBREED North Carolina State Championship

FUJI BJJ Wilmington Summer Championship

About the Event: Looking to mix a quick weekend beach trip with some high-level submission grappling? The FUJI Wilmington tournament offers both Gi and No-Gi brackets for all ages (4+) and skill levels. It’s a great road-trip opportunity for our academy to test our skills against a broader regional crowd.
Tap Cancer Out 2026 Raleigh BJJ Open
Date: Saturday, September 5, 2026
Venue: Raleigh Convention Center

Format & Rules: This tournament is Gi-Only and follows strict IBJJF rules with a double-elimination format, giving competitors extra opportunities to get mat time.
Weigh-In Information: Both night-before (Friday, 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM at the venue) and day-of weigh-ins are available. Note: All competitors weigh in without the Gi.
Compete for Free: This is a premiere event for the Raleigh Jiu-Jitsu community to roll for a cause. By selecting a “Fundraiser Ticket,” individual competitors can compete for FREE by raising a minimum of $250 for cancer-fighting organizations. Otherwise, normal paid registration tiers scale from $90 up to $110 until registration closes on September 1st.
Spectator Fees: $10 at the door. Two coaches per academy, one parent per competing child, and all kids under 12 enter for free.
