Make a commitment to be more positive this year. Negative thinking will only hold you back from reaching your full potential. Negative thinking can come in many forms as well. Being judgmental, criticizing others, bullying yourself with self-labeling, always being a victim of self-pity, and more, are all forms of negative thinking. Try to stop that behavior and look at the positives of each situation. Try to find that silver lining. Positive thinking and positive projection will take you far in life. Plus, you might even make more friends. People are drawn to positivity, so give it a try.

Minimize Resolutions

Try not to go overboard with making too many New Year’s resolutions. You’re only setting yourself up for failure. Having an over abundant amount of resolutions can be hard to manage and could eventually overwhelm you. Furthermore, if you’re trying to change too many behaviors at once, you’ll find it difficult to focus on any single one of them. So try to pick three big ones and stick to those. You can always break the bigger resolutions down into smaller goals.

Now that you’ve got your goals and resolutions all figured out, come up with an action plan on how you’re going to accomplish them. Make a list of everything you’re going to need to do. For example, if one of your resolutions is to be able to roll for longer periods of time without getting gassed, then write out a cardio action plan including the type and frequency of exercises you’ll need to work on.
